unannounced, uninvited, unwanted

a.
first, i will say an announcement you already know: this saturday, aug 16, walang klase :)

b.
just a few reminders left:
-don't forget that on aug 23, you will also submit a 15 seconder or a 30 seconder plug of your docu
-please save your raw materials. i will collect it next saturday aug 23. this is for a possible re-edit if tv5 deemed it necessary. but don't worry, the re-edit is on me. and again, as ive mentioned weeks earlier, we will hope and strive that our documentaries are air-worthy (audio and video quality, etc). some things can't be fixed on edit :(
-during your shoot, please no product intrusion unless it's an x-deal. don't shoot with brand names captured in your frames. same goes with the credits.
-your script and sequence guide are just that.. guide(s). adjust if you must and break the rules. kung ano sa tingin nyo ang mas makakaganda ..yun yun! :)

c.
a prelude to what will

..
the shortest possible time, the darkest possible theme, in the most upbeat way - TV mainstream at its peak, combined with the indie spirit we aspire and live.
welcome!
..to the delegates of this year's annual philippine aswang convention,
magandang gabi sa inyong lahat.
i was doing my astral travel last week when i saw some of you leaving your house almost midnight before the blinding rain.
like the vampires of the west or the sigbin of the south, my friends here from abscbn was doing their rounds in the compound looking for coffee so as to awaken their blood and consciousness. hindi na tayo sanay ngayon sa sikat ng araw sa umaga. masakit na sa mata. at kulay pula na ang default mode ng ating paningin.
gabi!
..ito ang working hours. and it will be an invalid alibi to be late during night's meetings. but a late morning showing up is understandable.
the dark themed concepts are no longer alien to us.
after reading manga and watching many beautiful animes, thanks to japan, our mind is now more open to textured and non-orthodox tv series that bombarded local free channels.

this is the epitome of working class's struggle to watch tv and drink beer while watching their favorite TV shows after the day's work. but of course, not the free tv. but cable shows.

(to be continued soon)
